"The Beez" has been having fun here, in Western, Md. She is such a sweet girl. She's mastering carpeted steps, no accidents in the house and is even warming up to the cat. She is a total follower and we feel she'd be lost without another dog. She follows Jack's lead 24/7.
She is full of energy and very fun. She loves flinging stuffed toys around and snuggling them in her crate.

I am so excited!!!! Adoption day is tomorrow!!!

FM just had to tell everyone that I am turning out to be the second "Best Puppy Ever" (first best puppy is reserved for her spoiled boy Nephi - but FM is a bit biased).

• I am sleeping through the night like a champ, FM & FD put me in an ex-pen at night in their room and I am out, I don't even get up with the alarm.
• I climbed the stairs all by myself last night for bed, FM just stood behind in case I slipped, then I went down all myself this morning, it was a little slippy but I did okay...then I shocked everyone when I went up again all alone after FM went upstairs to get dressed!  (FM here:  she is becoming a little velcro dog)  I was so proud of myself I wagged my tail a little.  I got a little jealous that Nephi was on the people bed, but FM told me that I had to stay on the beds on the floor, so I got back into my pen and laid down like a good girl.
• I asked to go out this morning after breakfast and FM has taught me to "pee" on command (FM here:  not sure how I trained her but if I tell her to pee she will).
• Coming back down after FM got dressed I walked behind her, pushing my head against her hip to keep myself from sliding down.  (FM here:  I know she will do fine on carpeted steps - she has the idea, its our wood steps that are slippy - even for us humans.)
• I eat like a champ.
• I crate easily.
• As long as there is another dog around I have no issues when we are alone in the house. 
• And I am a toy hoarder - FM says I am turning into a real retired racer!!!!  

Maybe I can become your "Best Puppy Ever!!!!"

FM says I should be on Hoarders!

A bit of a scary day for a short while - furnace repairman came (but now we has heat), then FD shaved off his beard (I almost didn't recognize him), then when FD took me out for potty, the scary old dude who lives in the basement was in the yard.
 

Accomplishments:

Went down the stairs all by myself this morning!
Slept all night without a fuss!
Getting much better on leash!
Better about leaving kitty alone (even though he is a tease)!
Picking up routines easily, very smart girl!
Loves all yummies (got to share in some of Nephi's first BarkBox treats)!
Playing more with toys and learning to squeak them!
Wagging my tail when FM comes home from work!
Crates well!

I am learnin' to be retired!

I am learning it is fun to just lay around the house, outside of my crate (and sometimes Nephi even lets me cuddle him).

FM & FD say I am really starting to get the hang of this stuff.  I can be alone while FD is gone for a little while everyday taking FM to work and stuff and never fuss in my crate, I like to just hang in there even when everyone is home (with the door open).  I am still learning how to play with toys, but I am turning into a great little house pup!!!  I figured out how to ask to go out to potty (I learned from watching Nephi).

FM here:  She really is a smart little girl, she figured out that food comes from the refrigerator and where the cookie cabinet was on the first day.  She is a sweet little foodie and today when I got home from work she wagged her tail for me.  She will also stop to lean on your leg if you pet her when she is passing by.

Retirement is cool!!!!

Hi I am Bocs Ms Beezly, but FM calls me "Beez" because that's what I  respond to best!  She thinks that's what they called me in the kennel.  She also says I am as cute as a pair of bee's knees.  Did you know bees had knees?  I sure didn't.

I love toys (though I am not too sure exactly what I am supposed to do with them yet - I am learning {see my video}) and my crate, I am a good eater, I also go out on leash perfectly to do potty.  I have not had an accident in the house and am learning by following my foster brother that I have to go to the door to ask.

Right now I am living with one other greyhound, a big laid back male named Nephi (he makes an appearance in the video),  I tried to cuddle with him last night but he just got up and left, though he sleeps on the couch next to my crate at night to keep me company.  I would do best with another hound to show me the ropes.
